Today I want to tell you about the Timex Intelligent Quartz Linear Chronograph – Item T2P276ZA. Not only does it look cool – it is an interesting watch because of how the chronograph functions. What’s different about this watch is the linear scale used to track the elapsed minutes on the chronograph function and the angled sweep hand to track hours that have elapsed. See the enlarged pictures below – and click any of them to go to the Timex website.

The chronograph second hand is the large orange hand shown in the picture below (there’s an independent second hand for time keeping in yellow) and you’ll also note the unusual placement of the date window – between 1 and 2 o’clock on the dial.
Have I gotten you as interested as I am about this watch yet? This is unlike anything I’ve seen before – and it all looks really good together. I’ve seen watches that try to cram a whole bunch of dials and functions on the face – and they just end up looking messy. This one looks complex – but extremely well thought out – and very unique. I like the black color of the case and dial – with the red-orange ring around the face – and the brown leather band just looks correct for this watch.
If you’re still wondering about the function of the Linear Chronograph – don’t worry I didn’t get it at first either – check out this video which explains it:
So after seeing all about this watch are you ready to get one for yourself? I know that I am. If you want to buy one – and you haven’t clicked on one of the pictures yet – you can click here. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this one – and it will be different than any other watch you may have.
