Invicta Pro Diver – 8926

Today I want to talk about the Invicta Pro Diver – model number 8926.  This is a great, classic looking dive watch – I specifically like the bezel design versus another similar Invicta model – the 8926OB.  So let’s check out the Invicta Pro Diver 8926.

First I’m going to go a little off topic.  What inspired me to write this was an article I saw – about the new James Bond Movie – Spectre.  They are releasing the watch that will be worn in the movie – The Omega Seamaster 300 “Spectre”  – it will go on sale in September – and cost $6,450.  That’s an expensive watch – but it made me think – could you get something similar at a lower cost.  That’s what I’m going to write about.

Here’s a picture of the Omega – and a link to their press release if you’re interested – Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre

Ok – now that we’ve finished drooling over that watch – let’s talk about the Invicta.

Invicta 8926 Pro Diver - MSRP $315

Invicta 8926 Pro Diver Automatic

This is a classic dive watch – with an automatic movement – for under $100.  That in itself makes it a great watch to buy – now using the James Bond inspiration – you can easily personalize it with a NATO strap.  This will give you something unique – and something similar to the Spectre watch.  You can buy this now and have it before it gains popularity when the movie comes out.  You’ll definitely be ahead of the trend.  If you like this watch – click here to buy it for yourself (for a LOT less than MSRP).

Here’s a picture of the NATO strap – click here to get one.

Basically – this modification will work for any dive watch – you’ll have to remove the original band and then loop the new strap through the pins.  You can get these in a lot of different colors – if you prefer to create your own look.

So go ahead and get your James Bond – Spectre inspired dive watch today – the watch and strap will end up costing you a little over $100.  Here’s the watch and the strap

  1. Hi Jeff,

The Invicta 8926 Pro Diver seems like a great choice if you are looking for craftsmanship. Combines quality and a nifty price.

It is very fashionable too. Definitely a good watch even if you are not going to use it for diving.

Thanks for the post. I am gonna look into it.

    • It is a great price for an automatic dive watch and with the NATO style strap you can wear it a couple different ways – as a dress watch and more sporty.

Thanks for checking out my site – come back for more reviews.

      Jeff

  2. Thanks for sharing this post. I don’t wear a watch very often, but I do appreciate the many different designs and features that are available to people.

I like to be a bit creative. So if I was to make a purchase on something, I would choose the NATO Strap. I like the fact that you can create your own look with different colors available. Great post.

    • I’m glad you found something interesting in my post. Yes – the NATO straps definitely allow you to personalize the watch to your own taste. Keep checking back for more information on how to buy watches.

      Thanks,

      Jeff

  3. Hi Jeff, nice text here about Invicta Pro Diver watch. To be honest with you I entered the post out of curiosity because I myself have some post about a rather different type of an outdoor watch. But I do like the watch, although I would not use it with metal band (it plucks hair from the hand, at least that has been my experience in the past). So I would rather use the strap you suggest there. Many thanks.

    • Thanks for checking out my site – I’m glad you like the watch – and the strap option. I think sometimes people don’t realize the options that are available – and this is an easy change that really changes the watch.

      Thanks- Jeff

  4. Looking at the price of $6,000 for a watch, it makes me wonder who can afford these watches? Are people still purchasing watches these days? I wear a FitBit watch that is tied to my health. However, I do miss wearing something more stylish. My husband was into these types of watches. Maybe it’s more of a guy thing or status symbol. Thank you for the education on watches.

    • Yes – people still buy watches – and yes – $6000 is expensive – That’s why I presented a reasonably priced alternative. You can get a similar looking watch for a lot less. I’m glad you found the post interesting – and check back for more reviews and information.

      Thanks- Jeff

  5. You come up with some great watches each time in your posts that I would almost need to become a collector with all the fantastic options you provide. You make it hard to decide on just one watch.
The good news is as you showed in this post with the James Bond movie watch and the alternative watch you have displayed, why settle for just one.
You are showing great prices that you can own a couple of watches to suite the occasion.
Looking forward to your next post.

    • Great to hear that you are enjoying my posts. That’s my goal – to share a lot of the watches that are out in the market – and maybe the average person isn’t aware of – or can’t find when they are searching. Keep checking back for more reviews.

      Thanks- Jeff

  6. Wow this is a great watch on this page. At $6,500 do you get a celebrity with it or somthing. Wow and it looks like it’s not real silver. You did a great job on showing us all similar watches.

I don’t wear a watch anymore, not since I lost my other one somewhere One of these watches could make a great birthday or christmas present for my husband.

  7. Hi Jeff,

I like how you decided to write your article based on being inspired to help everyone out there find a nice designed watched at a favorable price. This is great for those who can not afford to spends over 6 thousand dollars on watch, like myself and so many others.

    Yours Truly,

    Carlton

  8. James Bond watch?

That seems really cool. I haven’t watched all the Bond movies, but your article really got my attention. The “Spectre” watch is really cool by the way.

I’m not a huge fan of watches, but just even knowing that James Bond wears it can be enough to buy it.
    Good review!

  9. Hi,

I just found your review on the Invicta 8926 Pro Diver watch. Woow, so you can go down to 200 meters with this one? This is really incredible. I admit, I am not a diver, but I find it really neat how you can make it look so much like the James Bond watch. I may have to seriously consider getting this one for my husband!
    Thanks!

    • Thanks for the comments – this is a great watch that I think your husband would like.

      -Jeff
