Today I want to talk about the Invicta Pro Diver – model number 8926. This is a great, classic looking dive watch – I specifically like the bezel design versus another similar Invicta model – the 8926OB. So let’s check out the Invicta Pro Diver 8926.
First I’m going to go a little off topic. What inspired me to write this was an article I saw – about the new James Bond Movie – Spectre. They are releasing the watch that will be worn in the movie – The Omega Seamaster 300 “Spectre” – it will go on sale in September – and cost $6,450. That’s an expensive watch – but it made me think – could you get something similar at a lower cost. That’s what I’m going to write about.
Here’s a picture of the Omega – and a link to their press release if you’re interested – Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre
Ok – now that we’ve finished drooling over that watch – let’s talk about the Invicta.
Invicta 8926 Pro Diver - MSRP $315
This is a classic dive watch – with an automatic movement – for under $100. That in itself makes it a great watch to buy – now using the James Bond inspiration – you can easily personalize it with a NATO strap. This will give you something unique – and something similar to the Spectre watch. You can buy this now and have it before it gains popularity when the movie comes out. You’ll definitely be ahead of the trend. If you like this watch – click here to buy it for yourself (for a LOT less than MSRP).

Basically – this modification will work for any dive watch – you’ll have to remove the original band and then loop the new strap through the pins. You can get these in a lot of different colors – if you prefer to create your own look.
